Another Averill Dog

Nancy and Steve had their own dog. That first dog, as the ones that followed, was a labrador retriever. His name was "Hank." Hank was the name he came with. We had him from about 1981 until about 1986. He disappeared thereafter. We should have gotten the idea when Hank ran away from his previous owners the night we were supposed to get him. Hank was a great frisbee dog, but he was paranoid about being left alone, even for brief periods of time.

Still, Hank was pretty sweet. The photo below was Hank with Jennifer around 1982.
