Not that us bicycle types would know anything about such things, but offhand, I'd say it was a 1955 Chevrolet Two-Ten Handyman 2 Door Station Wagon, of which there were 28,918 produced. If memory serves, it was more of a blue than the picture suggests. I also seem to recall that New Orleans pictures would show the same car. A closeup of the hood (bonnet for British car types), would show a discolored paint spot on the left side that no amount of washing and polishing would remove.
Does anyone have a pic of the car that mom drove to swim team, the one with the huge fins, and it was green, and the speedometer always showed us going 120 miles per hour along Lake City Way?
